Nova came into the Lab and saw Starry missing. She looked at Antauri and saw him waking up. He was completely recovered. Nova let him out and Antauri took off his mask.
“Where’s Starry?” Antauri asked.
“I don’t know…” Nova said. They went to Starry’s room and saw the disk. After watching the message Antauri got up an walked out of the room and down to the main computer where everyone else was.
“What’s wrong Antauri?” Chiro asked. Antauri got the scanner up and scanned for Starry.
“Starry is gone… She left…” Antauri said. The scanners picked up her ship’s signal. Antauri found the coordinates.
“I’m going to go get her.” Antauri said. Nova and Otto stood by his side.
“We’re going with you.” Nova said.
“Besides Starry is our friend too! We can’t let her feel this way!” Otto said. Then Jinmay came up.
“I’ll go too…  You’ll need all the help that you can if you run into formless.” Jinmay said.
“No Jinmay, You must stay here and defend Shuggazoom. We will bring Starry back… Everyone watch for the Skeleton King and make sure that he doesn’t find out about Starry being missing.” Antauri said. So Antauri, Nova, and Otto left the robot and flew towards where the scanner said she was. Soon they were out of the city and flying towards the ship’s signals.
Chiro and the others started preparing for the battle ahead.
“Do you think they’ll find Starry?” Chiro asked.
“Starry and Antauri always had a way to find another. When Starry got lost, Antauri always found her. So don’t worry, Kid. They’ll find her.” Sprx said. Gibson cleared his throat.
“Starry is only worried about hurting Antauri again… Let’s just hope that she doesn’t do something drastic.” Gibson said. Meanwhile Starry was sitting in the back of a lab. She had arrived at the lab a while before hand and she had made a breath mask full of chemical killing gas. Any extra type of chemical besides the certain ones that were necessary for her survival. She was breathing through the mask now and she groaned as the chemical began to work. She felt the sting in her heart and mind as the chemical worked.
“Antauri… I’m not hurting you ever again…” Starry said quietly, “Even if I have to stay away from you forever…”
“I could help you with that…” A voice said. Starry turned to see Mandarin coming towards her. She stood up and leaned against the wall.
“What do you want!?” Starry yelled.
“I want your power… The energy that flows freely through your veins… The power that the Power Primate chose you to wield… Even the power that makes you wish to stay away from Antauri…” Mandarin said. Starry breathed in the chemical once more and fell on her knees. She didn’t want to breath this chemical any longer but it would take the other chemical out.
“You would only use it against him… To hurt the team…” Starry said. She breathed in again then she gripped her head tightly. She screamed as the Power Primate coursed heavily to a part in her head. It was instantly destroyed and then Starry’s breath mask fell off. She gasped for air and then she realized Mandarin was right in front of her. He gripped her wrist so tight, that she winced in pain. He lifted her up and soon Mandarin was face to face with Starry.
“Your power is all I need… That chemical has destroyed the one Avon put in you…didn’t it?” Mandarin asked. Starry began to breath harder.
“And if it did? By the way… how did you know about that?” Starry said. Mandarin gave an evil grin.
“I gave it to him…” Mandarin said. Starry’s eyes went the widest they ever had.
“You helped Avon?! He wanted me dead or at least everything we all worked for!” Starry gasped. Mandarin squeezed her wrist harder and Starry let out a squeak of pain. She closed her eyes tight as the tears flowed down her cheeks.
“No one can save you now…” Mandarin said. Then a energy thing came and nailed Mandarin in the hand. Starry dropped and looked at the entrance. Antauri had two more of them in his hands.
“Let her go…” Antauri ordered. Mandarin looked at him with hate.
“She left you… Why would she wish to return?” Mandarin snarled.
“Because…” Starry groaned. Mandarin looked at her and stared as she kept herself barely off the ground.
“Because I wanted him safe… I thought he wouldn’t wake up… but he did and now… The chemical is gone and I can stay there for him!“ Starry cried softly then she yelled, “Because I’m in love with him!” Mandarin grinned.
“You barely have the strength to keep your head off the ground… let alone defend your beloved Antauri…” Mandarin said. Antauri charged and Mandarin did and evil monkey mind scream. Antauri was knocked into the wall.
“Antauri!” Starry gasped and she stumbled up and to him. She stayed sitting up and then held his hand.
“Mandarin… You monster… I’ll murder you for this!” Starry snarled. She turned to him with the power primate making her whole body pulse with it’s power. She stood up and then felt the pull of Antauri’s hand.
“Don’t let the Power Primate fuel your anger… Let it go…” Antauri said. Starry looked to Nova and Otto.
“Get Antauri away from here… I’ll be right behind you…” Starry said. She let her claws extend and soon she charged Mandarin, wrestling with him on the ground. The power Primate attacked Mandarin with it’s own will and then sent Mandarin into a pure energy ball. It disappeared and so did Mandarin. The power primate filled Starry and she flew out and down to Nova and Otto. She went over to Antauri.
“Are you ok?” She asked. Antauri smiled in his own way.
“You didn’t kill him… you let him live… I’m proud of you Starry…” Antauri said. Starry touched his wound and allowed the Power Primate to completely heal him before the glow left her and she went black and fell on Antauri. Antauri looked at her and then held her close.
“We better get her to the Super Robot for Gibson to look her over.” Nova said. So Antauri carried Starry and they reached the robot just in tie fore the others to return from battle.
“Is she ok?” Chiro asked. Antauri looked at her.
“She needs care.” Antauri said. They all carried her inside and Gibson ran a few tests. As soon as he was done he allowed her to just lay there and breath in the extra chemicals.
“The chemical that destroyed the extra evil chemical did her system a terrible thing. It shut off her most important systems and now she is just recovering.” Gibson said.
“Will she be better off?” Antauri asked. Gibson nodded.
“I’m sure that she will be!” Nova said. Antauri looked at her while she slept.
“I know your right.” Antauri said.
